just reading MLB’s Jays page and supposedly everyone’s favorite BJ is playing through soreness right now. a sore BJ? what are you doing Gibbons? its been only a week since Janssen was shut down for the year after feeling discomfort. league is just now coming back after missing a year with “mysterious muscle imbalance”. Soreness is a more definitive ailment than both those injuries. since Gibbons is originally responsible for BJ’s descent into questionability (led the league in saves longer than one inning two years ago, and for what, the maintenance of the Jays third place policy) i would advise him to shut the cajun man down. id rather have any BJ from May-September than a sore BJ in April.
